110 Chinese won't turn over
#1
I went through and replaced the battery, starter, spark plug ,carburetor and ignition switch and it ran great all day and after a few hours it was smoking from the engine, we took it as residue since it had been sitting for so many years but then it just stopped out of nowhere and it'll start to turn over but then you hear a squeak like styrofoam rubbing together and it stops turning over, if I were to guess with my limited knowledge I would say maybe the piston overheated and now is rubbing against the cylinder wall. Any advice?
Edit: I turned over the engine with a socket wrench and it didn't feel like too much resistance and I couldn't hear the sound, so I'm thinking maybe the starter went bad even though I just replaced it or it's not getting enough voltage.
I checked and if I did it right the starter is getting around 4 volts but I don't know if that's high low or what
