Hi my son has a 2015 Tao Tao cheetah atv 107cc when he was riding it last it smelled like something burning in motor.. it starts up fine goes into gear, but when it’s on jack stands everything works strong like it should. As soon as you sit on it, it barely moves.. same as reverse but a little faster.. i changed the oil I read some post on here and it says too adjust the clutch. That didn’t work.. I’m just so confused if you can help I would appreciate it

 

He may have glazed the clutch plates or shoes. Best to take the clutch cover off and check both clutches for wear and glazing, If they are within tolerances, (centrifugals usually work fine until worn down to the metal backing of the shoes) rough the surfaces up with coarse Emery and put them back.
