help me plz my chinese 100cc 2 stroke wont fire so i ordered the cdi box and it has different colored wires than i have on my quad, i need help figuring out what wire goes where!!! Plz Help Me!!! old box has green, blue/wht, blk/red, wires and blk, blk/wht in a pin- The new box has blk & orange in the pin and blk/red, wht/red, & blk/wht wires. Did they order me the wrong cdi replacement???

 

Looks like they may have given you the wrong part. Checked a couple of diagrams and it seems the one you have got is for a Manco.

This is an AC set up. First you have to find out if your bike is AC or DC, if it is AC there will be a wire from trigger coil and another wire from an alternator coil to CDI. If it is AC, check what colour is coming from which component and match them to the colours going into the CDI on the diagram. Note the Manco CDI seems to be earthed to the frame.
