i have a NST motors 400s2 yamaha nockoff. It seems the cdi is fried. i tried to hook up a raptor 350 cdi (plugs match) it turns over even has spark but wont start. any suggestions? the old cdi has static noise when key is on, and when i try to start the atv the solenoid makes this strange electrical shorting buzzing sound. with a yamaha oem cdi the solenoid works perfect, but it wont start.
