Just picked up a Chinese 125cc atv and need a new fuel tank because the one that came with it leaks at the seams...
aside from Amazon, where do you guys buy parts online?
anyone use chinesepartscanada.com before?

 

Amazon or Ebay.. i tried the taotao site with a different machine and took forever to get the parts. Amazon the parts are here in a week easy... Do yourself a favor on that machine change the carb out to something that is serviceable. I just had to do that with mine as the little one decided last min she wanted to ride it after a 1.5 years and last min of course.. Would idle all day but run out of fuel under throttle and cannot take the bowl of the stock carb to clean. Also install a fuel shut off as the dont have those as well. They are a good machine it started right up after sitting for so long but i do keep the battery on a maintainer as well

 

Thanks for the reply. I was able to fix the tank by pressurizing it and spraying it with soapy water. Found one seam on the rear that had some pin holes. I jb welded it and it’s no longer leaking!!
So once I put it all back together I tried starting it and it won’t start. If I spray some quick start in the filter, it will fire up quickly. So I’m assuming the carb is gummed from sitting for so long.
I just ordered one from amazon.
