Default Exhaust pipe broken 110cc coolster quad

The pipe broke at the muffler joint area. What might be a fix possible? I have a small welder with the stick type . Or is it time for a new one? As I try to hold it together steady enough while possibly putting weld on, it really difficult. Any ideas, suggestions, experiences

I could weld that no problem with the MIG welder, but I wouldn't make a decent job with a stick welder. However, you may be a much better hand with arc welding than me. Clean paint and soot off the area to be welded first, next I often remount the exhaust, so things line up correctly. Tack weld so it can't move about once off the bike again. Once removed again, I mount it in a vice at the best angle for welding, moving it about as needed to weld round the tube. As eddy currents can damage electronics, you should remove CDI and regulator before welding on the bike. I confess I don't bother, but I do remove ECUs on modern bikes as damage to them would get expensive.
