hey guys i just got my motor rebuilt and i did a .080 wiseco piston hot rod conectiong rod, fmf torque reeds reed spacer tomey b1 kit and i just got it all togeather and running and it seems like after like 3 or 4 laps around the yard for like a minute it seems like it heats up a hell of alot for only that much riding time..... is this usuall for a blaster to heat up this fast?what are some symptoms of over heating or just getting hot..... how long will it take to break this motor in 20 to 25 hours??? another question when the bike is not running the hose on the bottom of the float bowl pors out gas what causes this it only happends when it is not running. would lack of gasoline be causeing it to heat up fast.... i was thinking of that but there is no kind of smoke it runssss very clean. i am bringing it back to the motor guy tommorw to have the carb adjustted... did anyone blaster out off alittle smoke from the block and suck while breaking in???? pleaseeee help me thanks tim

whats hot, the whole thing, or the pipe in particular? mine runs good, but i did notice that the toomey gets REALLY hot and it gets hot in about 1 min of riding, if that. apparently that is normal though, it cools off good.

sounds big to me. i would only go that big if you had a 240 kit. cause even with a 240 kit you only need a 34 or 35.
