I wanted to hear from anyone that has upgraded the bulbs or replaced the headlights on a warrior. I want to get some more candlepower but I don't want to rewind my stator. Thanks in advance.

I cut the plastic grill off. Every we went out they would get caked up with mud. Been working fine, and you can just wipe the mud off while out riding. Haven't had any rocks damage the lights either.
Now how about replacement lights?

In the '99 Yamaha Accessaries Catalog, Yamaha offers a pair of 55w PIAA's on a mount with a guard for $169.00 list. I haven't seen a 2000 catalog to see if they are still offered. They bolt right on using stock bolts in the stock location.
