Bent rear axle on KVF650
#1
Darn I bent my rear ale and I don't even know what happened, I always tought that if I was to bend an axle I would probably end up with a broken member on me, but, nop, don't even know when I bent My axle!!!! I have the total spotsman waranty (extended 3 year waranty) but I don't know if it will be covered, I needed my bike this week-end so I called my dealer Monday to know if it waould be under warranty, if not I would of taken it out and bring it to a machine shop for srtattening it. The stupid dealer did'nt even call me back as to give me info, I called him yesterday and h said the H e had a hard time reaching Kawasaki to get the info. Talk about fast service, he did'nt even call back today to tell me wath was going on, talk about service!!!!!!!! SO i'm am stuck with out my bike fo the wek-end I gues I'm gonna go fishing another day!!!!! THis just pisses me off, any bobdy else with lousy service around here???
Sorry for buging you guys with my dealer problems but that felt so good

Just to let you know, Dura-blue makes a replacement rear axle for the Prairie 650, I saw it listed in the '03 Denniskirk catalog. If your warranty doesn't cover it or it is not part of a recall, then you may want to go with a after-market product over the stock Kawasaki axle.

Thanks for the advices' I will probably take it out and get it unbent in a machin shop. Lets say that right now my $$$ is not at its highest.
