Can anyonw who's installed a winch on a vinson tell me where you tapped into power? Directions talk about a keyed ignition hot wire only, I imagine to avoid running down your battery. If you've done this, can you point me in the right direction? I have the MJ receiver installed front and back now (2 late nights and lot of frustration) and just need to wire the winch and I'm all set. This is going to be cool. In the front, the winch sits approx 12" higher than the stock plate mount. Only down side I can see is the frustration with install. It's made to very exacting tolerances so as to be a very snug fit and not have any play, which is great, but I think the tolerances in the frames of these bikes have something to be desired. One other downside is the rear requires removing the storage box under the taillight. I'd like to find a place to put it, but not sure where that would be yet.
