Default Twin Air vs. K&N

I picked up and installed a Twin Air filter and i must say i notice a differences in performance over the K&N i had, anyone else experience this or is it just me thinking i notice a difference? I thought the K&N was a pretty good filter.

Neither one fit my airbox well. The Twin Air allowed a bit of dust to get by. I may try Uni next.

I noticed a difference. I've got a nice tight fit also, I just use k&n recharge kit. Twin air is gonna give you better dust filtration. Even when they make a k&n filter for mine i won't get it. I am totally happy with my twin air.

I have a K+N and was wanting to buy a twin air. Where is a cheap place to get one and about how much do they cost?

Also do you have to use the stock filter frame? (are they just the foam?)

Thanks,

the one i bought for my 02 650 uses the stock air filter frame, just pop it open and replace with the twin.
