1998 Trailblazer teasing me
#1
I've got a '98 250 trailblazer that continues to tease me. I've had it running a time or two, but only for a few seconds. Compression seems borderline at 115, been through the carb and it's spotless, fresh fuel, and plug. One thing that I have noticed is, it seems to spit quite a bit of fuel from the carb into the airbox while crankingand even when it ran for a few seconds. I think that even with a 115psi on the compression check that it should at least start!? Any experts out there that can give some advice? What am I overlooking?
Thanks!

UPDATE! Ran a compression test again and it's at only 90PSI today. Looks like I'll be doing the top end. What's the service limit on the cylinder. I belive that the standard bore is 72mm, and the side clearance for the piston is .003 to .015. does this sound right? Sorry for all of the questiosn, but does anyone know of a way to verify operation of the oil injection?
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
