Default Pred, ceramic coating

G'day guys.
I'm wanting to coat my header.
I believe you can have any color/ finish outside, but inside must be either black or red for better
performance, or was it gold?
Please help.

Thanks from down under, Geoff.

I would try to go with a Jet Hot Coating if I were going to coat my pipe. It lasts much longer and looks better than ceramic coating. Just my opinion, they can coat it for you for about 70 bucks. Modquad had his done and I know he loves it. Check out their websire at www.jethot.com.au the Hi-Luster(sterling) coating is what you want fore the headers. If you have any questions about them, ask me or Modquad, as I have checked into getting my Scrammy pipe coated from them also.

I've had both Jet-Hot and Ceramic coated pipes. They are basically done by the same procedures.Check out my pic's,my pipe was ceramic coated. It was done by a local powder coat shop, mine has been done for over 2 years with no problems. The head pipe on the predator would look very good with either one you choose.Later.

G'day vilnrk.

Thanks mate, looks great.
Did they say anything about different internal colors effecting the performance?
Also how do you like raths pegs, hard to mount with the nerfs?
Thanks again Geoff.

colors?, i didn't know there were any different colors to choose from. they didn't tell me about any other colors that hold up to exhaust heat.

the rath pegs are simply the best bolt on i have done yet! extremely simple to bolt on. it took only 15 minutes to bolt on. no modifications at all. simple bolt on. the shrouds took a little long to put on. but they were a simple bolt on also. pegs are very aggresive and you will never loose your footing. made from some kinda steel that hasn't rusted yet, i bet they are stainless steel.
