Default Tire Size = gear Ratios

Does anyone know how to calculate gear ratios with the tire size included, or what the difference is between say an inch of tire to a tooth on the front or rear sprocket.
thanks Guys

Default Tire Size = gear Ratios

Let see of I can remember? We use this a lot in bicycling it is called "gear inches". It is the number of inches the bike travels per each single revolution of the front sprocket = (front # of teeth/back # of teeth) X diameter of the rear tire. [Actually, this gives you 1/3 of the actual inches. To get actual inches you would multiply by pi (3.14). By not multiplying, it keeps the numbers smaller and more manageable, and for comparison it is still the same anyway.] Did I get this right???????????
