426 Head/Cylinder on a 350 Warrior
#4
I seriously doubt it. The engines are totally different. It would probally be easier to install a 426 in the Warrior and put an electric start on it(someone could custom fab that). Personally I would wait for the new Yamaha Quad, it will probably be easier than either conversion.

Hey, this is definatly worth looking into. The one thing that comes to mind is where does the timming chain come through the motor?? What is the boar, and stroke of the 426? You also need to know the centerline of the crank to the face where the cylinder bolts on distance, cylinder lenth, rod lenth, piston pin diamiter, and centerline of piston pin to face of piston. Do you happen to have one of these motors?
If not how about a YAMAHA TT/XT/SR 500 (1975-82) 2v, or YAMAHA XT550/TT600 (1982-89) 2v. I got that from the web cam page, here is the link http://www.webcaminc.com/yamahamoto.html#y3
I never thought of looking into a different cylinder or head.
