I'm wondering if anyone had any problems with the drive train/servos with oversized tires. do oversized tires void warranty? I just bought a 2003 kodiak 450 and was looking at " mud lights" + some cool wheels.

 

I have the same quad and I put Gators on it... I went with the stock size and just love them...Very Impressed with them...They ride real smooth and hook up great....

Larger tires put extra strain on all moving parts but most newer atv's are built rugged enough to withstand the extra demands we make of our machines. As far as warranty goes some dealers make up their own rules on what is covered under warranty and some will void your warranty if you fart while sitting on your seat.
Mud lites are a good choice.

I have gators on my quad as well and am also very pleased with them.Mud runners are just as good and possibly slightly better but are very pricey if that is a factor.

 

I really like the Maxxis Mudzillas!! and some dealish are very leanient about warranty.
