Try PRM, they are nice people. I have skid plates and bumpers on both of my Zillas from PRM. Good fit up on the 6 pack rack also..

Armadillos look like great plates, I made my own so I can't tell you for sure, rockymountainatv.com carries the armadillos though

Rocky Mountain catalog has a couple rear swing guards for your quad but the full chassis seems to start at 1987 and up.

Dennis Kirk. catalog has a Maire polyethylene plastic skid for 1985-92 in yellow. (My Maire has taken alot of abuse.) The Maire is the only full skid listed for your quad. (DennisKirk.com)

Ronnies- N/A for your year.

Shade Tree- N/A for your year.

Ditto what Tick said, I have the .190 skid (love it), but my 6pack rack was #$%^* to install on the LT500, one for your 250 mounts differently so won't be a problem.
I know, you were asking about skids not racks, but we all end up down that road...

Hey GoldenChild500,
My six pack rack was not to bad to install. I had to grind a few place on the frame where the seat snaps down and the front mount on my FMF pipe but that was all. It was worth if when you are 1hr away from camp and are thirsty
