quadzilla's how wast were they?

Hey guys how fast were the old quadzilla's like around the top speed and how did they accelerate. Also about how many horsepower do they make? I'm just curious I don't have one or anything but I always thought they were cool.

I’ve never rode a Quadzilla. Mine is still a long way from ready to ride. My 91 LT250 flat out screams though. It will pull the front wheels in 4th if I hit it just right and 3rd pretty easy. Based on the performance of a LT250 I assume that the LT500 is insanely fast.

I have an 86 LT250R, and it will do about 75-80. That of course with all the mods and goodies. I blow away my friends Banshee on a daily basis! He hates it. I told him he needed to invest in a chest protector, but he likes eating gravel and dirt I guess!...LMAO! Bone stock, the LT250R will do around 70. The Zilla on the other hand will do around 82 bone stock, and with mods, who knows..85-90? Very scary if you ask me.

Thanks for the info everybody. Man the old quads smoke almost all the new quads but I guess there is a safety factor nowadays. I love the quadzilla's. The reason I started this topic is because my step-dads friend used to have one and he gave me a ride on it when I was like 13 and it scared the crap out of me. He said then it would do close to 100 mph and then I beleived him. After I started getting quads of my own though when I was around 18 I didn't really beleive him because the quads I got were lucky to go over 50mph. I now beleive his quad probably at least got in the 80's and it might have got in the 90's. Man it was sweet is all I remember, I'm going to ask him what he did with it the next time I see him.
