i am probably going to be getting a new ds soon and if i do i would like to know if any of the wheels off of my raptor or my wifes 440 ex would work as we have a few spare sets.

well sand man i am finally going to get a ds and i at least plan to keep it stock and build the raptor up further for drag racing when funds allow.we went to florence sunday and the wind was a real pain but it kept a lot of people off the dunes ,are you going this weekend?

sandman i got my baja ordered from the local dealer and i should have it in the next week or two but as far as leaving it stock that is my plan for now anyway.i will be at least looking for a pipe that is legal or close to it for the dunes but other than that if i want a little more speed i will jump on the raptor.i plan to up the power level on the raptor considerably in the future and use the baja for everyday riding.i guess we will see you on the weekend of the fourth.

just so you know the biggest draw back on performance on the ds is the factory rev limiter that is one thing you will want to change, plus the gearing for the dunes, i hope they didn't get you for more than 6500 well that will be cool seeing the raptor then i've been getting mine to run better and better.

A stock DS requires the basic airbox/filter, CDI and exhaust mods. After that, I can see leaving it as a great daily driver. Less than this, and you're ignoring the cheapest, high performance mods the bike demands. You could even possibly be brought up on abuse charges from the FAEFTTQ (Federal Agency that Ensures Fair Treatment to Quads).....don't go criminal on such simple items, it ain't worth it.
