Best tires for ALEDO???
#1
Last year I was able to win my class on my stock Dominators! LMAO.
Anyway, I dont think they will cut it this year. What is the best tire out thier to HOOK up on this slick dirt track?? The taller the better.
Mark, is the track going to be wetted(is that a word?) down this year, or are we going to be laying black marks on the dirt like last year?

I had 22" pro wedge II ready to run this year on .125 8" rims, hubs machined for yamaha pattern.
I was told you could easily drill the holes to enlarge them slightly on honda rims to fit DS bolt pattern.

Bigger- The volenterr fire deptment is going to water the track for us. The start line will be a loose mix like last year for the first 60 feet and then on to the grass. The grass is flush with the dirt already. It is just holding the dirt together. The track has been hooking up good the last few weeks. Pro-wedges might be the ticket. I do not think turf tammers will do the job. (to small) The factory 400ex tires and raptor tires hook up well IMO. A lot use holeshots. Good luck.

yes the pro wedges were on the ATV. The tires probably survived, but the rims are damaged. The hubs survived as well.

ScobbyDFW,
Soory for your loss, I hope you get all the money plus all the time you have invested in your awesome machine. I interested in the pro wedges you have, I'm in the DFW area. I live & work in Mesquite, Tx.
I could use the rims & my brother can use the tires, he lives in Mesquite & works for the Plano post office. Just let me know what you want for them. Also let me know what you need for parts when the insurance takes care of you. Thanks!

I know that I have heard from more than one person that Holeshots were hooking up real good out there. I think everyone should do what I did. I went to the town lawnmower shop, and got some of those 22in wheels that some push lawnmowers have on the back. for about $30 I got the tire and a cool spoke wheel. They are just a little over an inch wide. they are attached to the hub with garbage-bag ties.
What happened to scooby? I gues I didn't hear. I think everyone should say who they think is going to win. I vote for THEBOM. I hear he is bringing a facking tricked out DS760 shooting 50 shots of nitrous. that sounds like the shiznit right there.
