I have a 300 4x4 fourtrax with less than 500 miles on it, I am now starting to feel a vibration in the bike. I have check out several things to see if there is anything is loose but everything is tight. The vibration feels like it is somewhere near the engine, the bike is smooth until you gradually increase the speed then it smoothes out again until you call on it again for more fuel then the vibration is back. Can someone give me some advice before I take it back to the Honda dealer? Thanx

I have a '92 2WD model (bought used) that has seen many hours and acts the same way. The vibration appears to me to be somewhere in the drive train. I first thought it needed swingarm bearings, however those appear good and tight. My next choice would be the u-joint that attaches the drive shaft to the engine. I keep it out-of-state and haven't had the chance to look closer at it.

I posted a similar question before but did not get a response. It could be that this is common for the models with many hours on them. However it seems like you may have something wearing our prematurely.

Well, with no response yet I am almost inclined to believe that this vibration is common to the Honda TRX model.

However I do know that my Kawasaki ATV still rides as smooth as the day I bought it.
