Default Best Front Brake Pads?

What the best brakes pads that I could get for the front of my recon? Are the stock honda ones as good as aftermarket ones like EBC? Whats a better material to get, Kevlar or Carbon? I want something that will last for more then a year and will still have lots of power to stop.

There are two grades of EBC go with the long life sintered 345G. Sand blast the inside of your drums and they will work real good.

Thanks. I'm not exactlly sure if I need new pads or not becasue I can still adjust my brakes and they still have some grab to them. But I can't see the lining thickness through thelittle hole like it says you "should" be able to in the service manual. Though I think I might just get a set anyways because I'm gonna need them sooner or later.
