I wish I could get the front brakes to lock up. I have Galfer braided lines and good fluid, but the only place I can lock them up is in the sand or the mud. Do you think I need to bleed them again? Sorry I don't have any help for you on your problem. Maybe the chrome got into the piston area and is making it seize? Good Luck!

Thats really weird you guys. Even with my old 87 stock brakes with stock lines and probably origional pads, i can still lock mine up on pavement. Maybe you have more fluid in one line than another.

did you change brake levers ? i did and i had the plunger too far into the master cylinder and mine locked up . i had to release the pressure by opening the bleeder before i figured it out . i also have my calipers chromed . you might need to check and make sure where the piston seals go is not chromed . if it is you need to sand off the chrome so it will move .

Did they get any chrome in the piston bore/seal grove? Caliper seals often are not forgiving. If the chrome was a little thick it would tighten up the piston to seal tolorance. Some caliper seals are beveld could one be in backwards?

For those having bleeding problems..Forget gravity and lever pumping. You will need to reverse fill or vacum bleed to get all the air out.

forgive my poor spelling
