Default wolverine mud tires

I am trying to decide which mud tires and what size would be best for my wolverine. I want the biggest possible size without expensive modifications. Has anyone put 26" tires on a wolverine? If so what modifications were needed to pull these tires?

Default wolverine mud tires

Hi stacey - the general consensus on a Wolverine is that much larger tires cause the gearing to be too high: which makes it *harder* to get through mud and up hills. In the case of the wolverine, you're probably best staying 24" or 25" tires. To give you an idea, going from 23s to 25s will decrease RPMs by almost 10% at a given speed. This will hurt accelleration, especially off the line.
