Default YFZ450 Pricing

Montgomeryville Cycle Center in PA 215-712-RIDE expects to receive their first new Yamaha YFZ450 quad within a month or so & will be selling them for $6500, plus $100 shipping, plus tax/title/tags, for a grand total of a few bucks over $7k. Not bad!? They said the shipping charges are new but that every quad will be subjected to it.
I know it would be silly to wait until they would waive the shippping charge to buy one but its the principal here, they won't get any shipping charges out of me alive, LOL.....

Have you looked at the specs? It is more quad then a Raptor, err well not really cause it weighs less but it is longer, but it is shorter but it is wider oh never mind!

They don't call it "Shipping", they call it "Destination charges" and everyone pays them, even on cars.

Ok Pechmail, sorry about that.... Let me restate that then.

Buddy, If I don't pay shipping.... errr I mean destination charges in Alaska there's NO WAY IN HELL you should pay shipping...... errr I mean destination charges in Pennsylvania. Shop somewhere else!

Edited to add that the Dodge Dealership tried to tack that $hit on my Hemi when I got it. I told them that I thought it was crazy to charge me $2000 for shipping when I didn't ask to have the truck shipped here in the first place. I told them that if they wanted to sell the truck they'd have to take the destination fee and all the other stupid $hit off the price of the truck. Then we'd start talking. I drove home that night in a Dodge Ram 2500 heavy duty quad cab for about 500 under MSRP. Could I have done better? Probably, but I sure as hell did want that truck and we (the salesman and I) both knew it. It will be harder to talk a ATV salesman out of the destination fee because of supply and demand. But I would still refuse to pay that crap!
