Default Front sprockett loose

I own a 2002 Scrambler 400x 4x4. The problem is the front sprockett is loose which is causing the chain and the sprockett to wear prematurely. A friend of mine has a trail boss with the same problem. Does anyone have a solution to this problem, I heard it is common. Please help.

It's common. You have to upgrade to a Sunstar (Hot Seat sells them) or Sprocket Specialties sprockets. Make sure to lube up the splines with anti-sieze when you change them out.

Are you talking about the counter sprocket? ( trans sprocket )

They are loose to self aline with rear sprocket. My '94 400L had 5200 miles with 3 front sprockets in 6 years. Had the crap run out of it.
