Honda to begin Building Engines for ATVs at the Timmonsville S.C. Plant . A total investment of 20 million Dollars. 200 new jobs for the area. This is big news for my part of the State we have a rather high unemployment rate here. Hopefully some local people can get some of these jobs and it want be like when the plant first opened. Then all the jobs went to people who moved into the area with Honda. I hope this doesn't have any effect on the Quality of the workmanship of the Engines. This will be Hondas first ever venture into building ATV engines anywhere other than in Japan.

Kagey, I too hope that Honda hires from your local work pool. But sometimes even though it may take a while, in case they do hire from the outside, the trickle down effect(slow as it will be) will be beneficial to the enitre area.
