alright, i got my new berings in and everything. i put the axle lock nut little more than hand tight on and the little washer and clip that looks like a round peice of thick wire is lose on there... is it sposed to be like that? and how do you know if the brake hub is in there far enough?

 

Remember you have to turn the nut counterclockwise so it PUSHES on that ring ro it pushes the hub IN to the carrier. The oposite of what you think it has to turn.

 

ohh so i like "loosten" it so it pushes on that washer making it tight? and stick the lock bolt in the lock nut and tighten her up?

 

Yup! Kind of wierd but you'll get it.

Also for the first hour of so keep checking the axel if it gets loose, just keep it tight but not CRANKED tight.
