Default Sportsman 90 Brakes

I have a Sportsman 90 that I got in Dec '02 and the brakes are already worn out. It has been in some mud/water but I have told the kids to keep it out of deep mud/water which they have.

The brakes worked very well when new and they have went away quickly in the last month. I pulled a drum off the front and there is some dirt but not packed in like I expected.

While pullling the rear drum off I noticed BOTH HUBS WERE LOOSE and cotter pins was only thing holding nuts on !!!!!!! Rear drum is semi-sealed with rubber seal on drum, but it doesn't work very well when the hubs are loose which holds the drum tight with a sleeve that slides over axle.

The cotter pins did not allow nuts to back off far enough for the hubs to move much and the wheels did not move enough to see while riding, but thank goodness for the cotter pins.

CHECK YOUR SP 90 HUBS !!!!!!!! I will contacting dealer today.
