i read over the article briefly today, the two quads were modded for desert racing, and although they don't list the amount spent on either one, their conclusions were that each has its own strengths... for a longer & tighter race, the gasgas was more comfortable... it was also obvious they spent tons more on mods on the honda to bring it up to the same level as the gasgas.
what i found in it was that eyeball engineering is making lower A-arms & swingarms for the GG... i called them(eyeball) to find out more. the 300 they worked on had the large body shocks on it originally- thus the change to 19" TCS quad rate shocks & different lower arms, they did not change the caster but moved the shock mount location out farther. they don't make a caster adjustable upper arm for it (yet). they make the swingarms in +2 and they are supposed to be a bolt in unit
