I've got a 2000 Big Bear 4x4 that I've ridden everywhere. The fan seldom ever comes on. Well, I just picked up a 2003 Grizzly and rode it for less than a mile and when I stopped the fan was running. Is this common or is something wrong. Does the fan just come on more regular or something, I wasn't riding hard, maybe around 30 mph. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I guess you've got a point. Lookin at your sig it sounds like we've got alot in common. I've got a 2003 Jeep Rubicon. You got any mods done to your TJ?

I post over at JeepsUnlimited.com. It's getting pretty lame. I've got a 3" Teraflex kit, 5 33x12.50's Goodyear MTR's on black beadlock rockcrawlers, and a bestop oversized tire carrier on mine. I had a 2001 TJ sport and I traded it for the Rubicon. The difference is night and day.

 

I would say that is pretty normal. Remeber on you BigBear the fan was cooling the oil on the Grizzly it is cooling the antifreeze/water. Which heats up a lot quicker.
