Grizzly breather pipe stalling the engine in water up to the wheels

Default Grizzly breather pipe stalling the engine in water up to the wheels

i have an 03 grizz 660 and when i take it in water it stalls out bc of that pipe by the lef rear tire they say i can move it but will it void my warranty??

that is a vent for the belt. I have never had any trouble like that. I would have someone look at it

hmmmm....... well it seens kinda stupid they would put it that low i mean they have to figure people dont just buy bigger quads to look at them, when i went to the dealer about it he said ur not suppost to go through water above the pipe but thats stupid if u go slow through it it goes normal but if u gun it the engine stalls like when u put it in reverse and gun it or when u get stuck i put it in reverse to back it out but when i put it in gear and give it gas it stalls. o well when my warrenty is up all the pipes and crap is going to be rerouted so they are close to the top of the quad.

Sounds to me like you are getting water in the spark plug or coil. Water that gets in your belt case will not stall out your engine. If you use dielectric grease on your spark plug boot and seat it properly and also on your ignition coil this may fix the problem.
