changed the oil and my neutral light now stays on

the other day i changed my oil in my ds650 baja and then washed it and now my neutral light always stays on
whats the deal?

You've probably got some metal shavings caught in there. Bummer!

Well, I've never done it, but I understand you can get to the oil filter screen without splitting the case. Thats the cheapest thing I would do first. I've just never done it.

Is the light the same brightness as when it truly is in neutral or is it slightly dimmer? Mine did exactly what yours did after I washed it. The light went off after a couple of days.
