How Good Are Filter Skins For Protection On Sand With A Stock Air Filter On A Raptor???

Hello everyone i am a new rider and a new member to this site. I lot of my questions have been answered here without me having to ask. But know i have a question i have not seen popup! I just bought some filter skins(Cloth Cover almost like a nylon) for my raptor. I am useing my stock air filter and i would like to know how good these things are when riding in sand????? Should i have just gone with a Pro Design Air filter Kit are will i be fine with this filter skins??

Yes, that's the setup you want to run if you wish. I went with the same setup and trimmed the tabs on my snorkle, ended up having to rejet the mains, I was getting a lean pop on deceleration.

Yup! That's it. Keep in mind that it may also require you to rejet your rappy to get it running just right. Also since your rappy will be breathing more, it might also be a good idea to buy a new exhaust system to let that beast exhale better....
