They lost my cashier's check to Tucker Pro Racing that I sent off last month... Not that I'm in any hurry to get it, but to cancel that certified check and reissue it is $20, not to mention the $15 I dropped to send it certified and insured the first time. I insured it for $600 but they won't pay it because the check will have a stop payment on it. They never mention that before you insure something. If I paid to insure something for $600 they should just play by the rules, I've never heard of needing "proof" that something was worth what you PAID to insure it for... damn... they're just lucky that I didn't need the swing-arm already... I have been hosed by them before as well......trust me, the wait will be worth it though. I think I will adjust my chain just for the he$$ of it again.....I tear up everytime I do that [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img].

 

send a money order (cheap at 7-11) with signature required upon delivery. Wont Tucker take a credit card over the phone?? or paypal??

 

I'll probably call up Jeremy and see if they do Paypal, that would be easiest for me now...

Yeah, USPS sucks just like the rest of them. When you insure something dont bet on getting anything in return. I had them lose an item I sold on ebay for 150.00 well when I told them what it was they gave me a check for 15.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wrote all over that check before I cashed it telling the USPS that they suck and insurance is not worth it at all. I really do think its a scam that they can get away with.

 

I don't expect to get anything back from them, but I'll try anyways. Jeremy just wrote me back with their Paypal account info (good call Bat!!!) I should have done that in the first place.... ugh....

 

Hindsight is always 20/20. Hopefully it will all work out for you and you get your money back.

I have and always will use USPS. they are great. Never had any issues
