So who does your guessets and if you can post pics fo their work, because I need to find a good welder who gussets 250r frames.....The person I want to weld mine is too hard to contact..

 

I am asking the same question for my KFX. I think JD perormance in Riverside does gusseting. I have a great welder in Chino, Ca that gusseted my ex frame. My ex frame has held up pretty well. If you can't find anyone I would recommend him, the only problem is that this welder doesn't specialize in gussesting frames nor ATVs but he could do it.

 

I gusset my own frame! I just did my LTZ, we'll see how it holds up, i did my R and it lasted 4 years before i had my first crack (extreme race abuse, if you know how i ride you'd understand). Ed, we'll see how mine holds up after a few races/practice sessions. i will guarantee any of my work though, i dont half *** my fabrication. other areas where you can see my fab work is @ GPR stabilizers, Custom Aircraft parts (www.customaircraft.com), and i do welding for Duncan Racing

 

How much would you charge to do my frames? a 88 and 86..How long does it take usually to gusset the frame? thanks

 

get it sand blasted and i'll do a standard gusset job for free or a serious all out race gussetting for 100$

 

I need serious all out racing gusseting..and where do I get it sandblasted? and why? you dont weld over the paint?

 

welding over paint is bad...you want a nice clean surface to tig weld to for best results i guess i could just polish out the paint in the areas where i'd gusset it
