Default Blaster help

Hey everybody! My friend has a mid '90's blaster that has just been rebuilt and bored 40 over. Since he has gotten it rebuilt it runs like crap. It never revs out like it should, runs really rough and has no midrange hit at all. But after it has run for like 30mins it does some better but still is nothing like it should be. Any ideas what may be wrong with it? Where is a good place to start with carb adjustments? I have '95 blaster that is stock other than a pipe and it kills his! Any help would be great! thanks

Default Blaster help

Start with the carb. If jetting was changed, he might be rich. If not, clean it & be sure it's not obstructed. Make sure it's getting air too. My kids Blaster started doing just that, sounded real rich, and it turned out that it sheared the degree key on the crank and was timing retarded. (it was a Vito's advance key). Also check the silencer, if it's gotten plugged somehow it will cause that. Good luck.
