I have been using it for 2 years in my ds with no problems. 10w-40

 

I have always used it for a break in oil (new DS, Stage III and then 720) and have had great results but always go to Honda HP4 after all is seated & scuffed in. You could really get away with using it for the life of the engine if you changed it often enough but I like the peace of mind of a little slicker oil without being too slick for the clutch.

 

I have been using it (10-40) for two+ years, I change it frequently and have no problems.

 

Been using it for almost 2 years now. No problems.

 

How often do you change it?

 

I change my oil about every forth trip.
Rides average 75 miles per trip.

 

Do you change the filter every time?

It takes a little more than 3 liters right?

 

Tyre, I change mine every 2nd or third ride. Usually every two rides. The rides are around 3 hours of continous riding. I buy it by the case so its alittle cheaper.

 

Yes, the filter is changed every time the oil is.
I'm going to buy one of those reuseable filters soon.
The DS takes just less than four quarts.
