Grizzly Gas Gauge 2003

Grizzly Gas Gauge 2003
It is no big deal but on my 2003 Grizzly when I fill it up most of the time the top of the gauge doesn't light up so it shows 3/4 of a tank but once and awhile it will. Any ideas what it is and if it is a big job to fix it?? Thanks Chuck (Cottonwood,AZ.)
