Hi all. I'm *this* close to committing to the Kodiak, but the leaking water pumps I read about a few months ago concern me. Does any one know if they have fixed this problem yet?
Thanks,
don

I have 80 hours on mine with no leak. I know 2 others that have no leaks. I know one person that had a leak early on. It was the GASKET. His was pretty simple. Many more folks on this forum have no leaks than do.
I love mine. It is a worker that you can still have fun gassing and flicking it around.

SO FAR SO GOOD ON MINE WITH NO PROBLEMS AT ABOUT 150+ MILES. MY DEALER SAID THEY HAD ONLY HAD ONE WITH A WATER PUMP LEAK AND IT WAS ONE OF THE FIRST FEW SOLD. I WOULD SAY IT WAS AN EARLY PRODUCTION RUN ISOLATED PROBLEM ASSOCIATED WITH THE GASKET.

I've got almost 500 ABUSIVE km on mine and no problems yet. I wonder how many km or miles before i should change all the fluids?
