You're right, LT80 is the man to talk to for engine mods, as far as cheap power, some things you can do yourself is: 1. make sure all restrictors are out, the one in the carb and exhaust to limit power. 2. take 2 of the 6 rollers out of the front clutch to raise engagement and keep the power to the wheels on hills and for better takeoffs. 3. Check your reeds, the stock metal ones can crack and chip, TDR racing make a nice fiber reed, for better throttle response, ( about 16 bucks). These are free or very cheap things you can do at home, just the clutch mod makes for a much peppier power band, especially if you run into hills or the kids play in gravel pits.
