I am new here so let me say hello to all other members. I have 2000 honda rancher es, 4x2, thats plenty fun to ride but there is an auction I'm planning to attend this saturday and there is a yamaha 4-wheeler on the list but all the information provided is the color, blue/white, and the VIN #129700-1460CD1 so I was thinking that the banshee might have been in blue and white colors for a year or so, but I dont know, but the hondas vin# gives plenty of info like lots of vin# and would really like to know what kind of yamaha this is before I see it with other potential bidders, how could I find out more from the vin number? there is also a yamaha dirt bike, green, vin #RM250-34404, any help would be used and greatly appreciated.

 

Your missing part of the vin#, There should be 17#s if there is more it would be helpful.

 

This is all the vin number that was with the items on the auction list, I didnt know that theres supposed to be more. also a streaker on the list with no info other than "streaker 4 wheeler" I did a search on yahoo and didnt find anything, but thats off topic. you think they left out part of the vin to keep people interested in actually going?
