Did valve service, now it wont fire, PLEASE HELP

I just checked my valve clearances, changed the intake side to the proper clearances, put it back together and it will not fire, it does'nt seem to have spark and I am stumped

Did you reconnect your wires? Also did you line up the timing marks correctly at TDC? Are both cams lobes facing 180 degree's from each other, exhaust to the front of the quad and Intake to the rear of the quad?

My valve clearances are .005 all around, I put the TDC bolt in, and I did take the cams out, I have no spark at all for some reason.

Their are 2 big white connectors that may have come partially un plugged while you were in the process of you maintainance. they are located on top of your engine , just under the gas tank. Also make sure your CDI box was not unplugged, AND also make sure your HANDLE BAR ON/OFF switch is "on".

there's no deed for embarassment for taking out the cams, I always take out the cams to access the shims, the little bit of added effort is easier than dicking around trying to get them out from under the cams by just lifting them the little bit you can without removing the chain.
If your problem is at all related to your valve adjustment, it has to be what BiggerisBetter refers to. one of those big connectors is from the alternator, the other from the trigger coil at the flywheel it seems like. either can cause the bike to not run, or the cdi box connector. if you truly have no spark, its not related to the cams no matter what position they're in.

i always pull the cams to do shims, what were you saying to do lift the carrier and try to get them out like that? man what if you dropped a shim in the engine because you didn't have enough room to work well just checking .
