i just moved to syracuse, ny and was wondering if there are any trails close by. i know the tug hill region is about 60 miles from here, but is there anything closer? thanks for any info

 

Welcome to CNY! Where are you from? I grew up in the Valley section and now live in Liverpool. I just got my first ATV last month and haven't ridden much yet. I did a little riding on Onondaga Hill and the trails were pretty good. I'm assuming they are legal to ride as they are pretty well traveled and I know guys that have been riding them for years. You can access the trails at the back of Onondaga Valley Cemetery on Valley Drive. I plan on doing some more riding there very soon. I'm going to Tug Hill Thursday. I ride my snowmobile there twice a week in the winter and am very familiar with the area. I here there are some awesome ATV trails in the Brantingham area and will let you know how they are. It's worth the trip to Tug Hill. You can put on alot of miles on the seasonal roads if thats your thing. Check out www.absoluteatv.com for info on Tug Hill.

 

i am from alexbay but just moved to north syracuse. i have been on the tug hill trails numerous times, they are pretty awsome. thanks for the info about the trails.
