OT: I'd better stick to dirt...
#1
Just got back from Lake Havasu. Went good the first day of riding the Ski's. Second day, about 3 hours into the ride, I was making a high speed, wide turn and misjudged the shoreline. D'OH!!! I knew I couldn't make it out of the turn, so I ended up plowing through some brush on the shore at about 30 m.p.h.(carved a perfect "V" right through it), caught some good air, and ended up on the rocks. But dang-it... I held on. I survived with cuts from my right shoulder all the way down to my ankles. The Ski has some serious hull damage, but nothing that can't be repaired. All n' all, I'd do it again just for the adrenaline rush!!!

Im feeling you...about two weeks ago my brother and I wrecked our skis (crashed into eachother)....nothing too bad, about $1000.00 in damage...after that ride, I to thought I should stick to sand.
Glad to hear that your alright...be careful on those things

Thanx Queen....Thats the first time I ever had any problems in at least 5 years. I'm just happy to know that I'm not too old to survive accidents like that. It really was quite a rush!!
