stock front sprocket on honda 300ex

Default stock front sprocket on honda 300ex

does anyone know how many teeths the stock honda front sprocket has on the 300ex?
also does anyone know what the back stock tooth sprocket is?

and for track racing should i go lower on bolth of them?

i think its 13 and 38

as for track racing its up to you but raising the tooth will make for longer gears and lower for shorter

yah more top end speed, for the bigger teeth but slower acceleration, and debating if i want more teeth or less teeth, im taking all suggestions

are there any long straight aways?

i would raise though i think the gearing is too short anyways

k ill move the front to 14, and the rear up 1 or 2-does the rear one make a big differnce and do you know if these are hard to replace

try moving up just one in the front, and its easy to change

Default stock front sprocket on honda 300ex

going up one on the front has the same effect as going down 3 on the back, going down one on the front = +3 on the back. higher front, lower back will give you more top end but less acceleration. lower front, higher back will give you more accel but lower top speed.
