Default Tired of waiting for AC Racing

I've not had good luck with AC Racing. I've also noticed there are a few forum members that are still waiting for their orders too. I ordered a front bumper for my KXF 700 on 7/20.

On 7/31 I sent them an e-mail asking the status of the order......No reply. On the morning of 8/4 I called them and left a voice mail asking about the status of my order and for someone to call me back......No reply. I called again later that day and left yet another voice mail asking to cancel the order. I called my credit card company after that and asked to have the charge removed.

After that, I called IMS and they had their bumper (made by AC Racing) in stock so I ordered one 2nd day air because I have a Hare Scrambles race this Saturday morning. It came today, but so did the AC Racing bumper. I had originally thought that ordering on 7/20 gave me plenty of time for my race on Saturday.

Sooooooo, I'm stuck with the AC Racing bumper looks like. I haven't even opened the box. I paid 109.95 for it + $12.95 shipping. If you want one and don't want to wait for AC Racing, send me an e-mail. I just want my money back.

What irritates me the most is they didn't even reply to three attempts to contact them. But you can be damn sure they'll immediately take your order without any notice that you'll have a 3+ week wait.

Mark

You need to understand, AC Racing is not a big manufacturer like Duncan or who ever. They may fall behind from time to time. I know they had a rought time with the pro pegs for the Z400 about 6 months ago or so.

AC Racing is a large aftermarket producer of aluminum products AND should definately have better customer service. I too think they SUCK. I sent them an email and left messages for over two weeks regarding the products they had listed on their webpage for the KFX700. This was several months ago. They had products listed as available and would collect your money but in reality the products were "still in production", when you finally spoke with someone. I explained to them also it would be easier for them to sell their "goods" if they would put the pictures up of the products for the 700 on the website. They finally emailed them to me, the pics of the TeamGreen bike, that I posted for everyone here to see. I noticed they then posted those pics on their website shortly thereafter. How many people here bought the Nerfs that came with the wrong netting?? Thats good quality assurance............ Dont get me wrong their products are decent, the service is definately in the lacking......... Especially for such a large company. My .02

They too put out a quality product and there service to me is second to none. Just my oppinion, call Ray at Pro Armor, not only is he a staight shooter, but he has kept me imformed about products without me even having to call. Not only that, he ship's as the products become availble. I havn't been here awhile, I wanted to say hi to you guys too. I hope everyones well, Later, Putt

The "wrong" nets did not have enough stips of webbing. It was like two stips one way and three the
other, instead of three one way and four the other. Which means of course that you would have
a couple of unused web mounts on each side.

I did not have to send the wrong ones back ........ one phone call, they sent me the riight ones ....
took about a week.
