RIGHT NOW IN MY SCRAMBLER 500 I AM RUNING PENNZOIL SYNTHETIC 10W30 IS THAT OK? ALSO A FRIEND TOLD ME TO RUN ROYAL PURPLE 10W40. SO WHAT IS THE BEST WEIGHT AND BRAND TO RUN IN MY SCRAMMY?

 

probably the polaris oil at your local dealer (thats what I use)

 

Any synthetic is better than any non-synthetic. I believe most are 0w-40 for atv use. I use all Amsoil products.

 

THANKS FOR THE INPUT I THINK I WLL GO WITH THE POLARIS OIL. AT FIRST I WAS GOING TO USE THAT BUT WANTED TO SEE IF YOU GUYS USED SOMETHING ELCE.

 

my dealer is 40 miles away. So it is more convienent for me to go down to Autozone and get Mobil 1 0W-40 Full synthetic oil. Its called the European car formula. You can also get a Wix oil filter from Napa or Carquest

 

I use Polaris Synthetic Gold.

 

I use the Penzoil synthetic 10W30. Have beat the crap out of 2 quads and 1 tow rig with it and it is awesome!
