Best Jet Kit/ Air Box mod for Predator
#1
Ok, who's running what for the Predator? How about Rath racing's mod? Or Air box removal with a slip-on filter?
I have an Air Force kit, new, in the box. I would not install it after seeing I had to cut a hole DOWN STREAM of my air filter.

The Hot Seat set up works great, but it all but eliminates your airbox. Be careful if you will be riding where you are going to get wet or muddy. I have the Rath kit installed, and it works great, but I have had some minor problems in some wet harescrambles.

Truckracer, The airforce kit makes more power than any kit available. (dyno and drag strip proven). If you don't want to cut the airbox, use the jet kit and carb mods in the airforce kit and use the hot seat airfilter. Or return the A/F kit and use a 50 pilot, cut 5 coils out of the slide spring, and a 170 main jet. Using the Airbox does make more power than the other filters, but the Hot Seat kit does work well.

Rocky Mountain Atv sells an all aluminum airbox that will allow you to run without an air box lid. It uses a 250r air filter I think. Its made by UM Peformance Products and cost about $190 bucks. If your running in wet conditions it might be the best setup.

Ok...SP700, so your saying just to use what filter with the " 50 pilot, cut 5 coils out of the slide spring, and a 170 main jet??
Would this setup work with the stock exhaust as well?
