I was looking at a honda odyssey for my brother today, the think was in great shape but are they reliable in the long run. Someone told me that the 250 engine is the same as what is in the CR 250. I have owned 2 stroke dirt bikes before and did not find they very reliable. If anyone has any experience I would appreciate any comments

my friend just got a 350 oddyessy and its very reliable and really fun. I would recomend the 350 over the 250 though.

There are a couple things to watch out for. A 350 has an exhaust port bridge. The bridge needs to be relieved when boring and lubrication/cooling holes dilled in the piston. The instructions for this come with Wiseco pistons. Many people do not do this resulting in short piston life. There is much more information one these machines through the Pilot Odyssey BBS on www.glamisonline.org
